How furry are you?

I uh...I identify as a furry but I don't go around saying it or telling people usually unless it becomes relevant. I buy a limited amount of furry stuff, from video games and movies involving anthropomorphic animals to shirts (well, one. I'm not THAT outward about it. Just one in particular is too cute for me to pass up) and artbooks. I store such artwork on my computer. I admittedly like the porn, although I'm not in it for that stuff and I would be here regardless if it didn't exist I would hope. I like cute things, so my main interest is just finding as much cute artwork as possible. If I had a large disposable income I'd commission artists, but as that is not the case I don't do so. I wish to draw such artwork myself and go to a convention, but a lack of skill/money respectively prevents me from doing this. I recently acquired a fursona, but I have yet to get a proper drawing of it made and until I do so I will not reveal any information about it on here.

Furry Art - Sometimes, but not often. I'd say like less than 10% of my art is anthro stuff. Seeing how many people commission it though, might have to start doing some more.

Conventions - One day, but that'll be after I obtain a fursuit.

Fursuit - One day.

Fursona - Yeah.

RP - If it involves dice and a character sheet.

Public ID as a furry - I don't openly bring it up IRL, but I won't deny it either.

- I've been drawing furries for years, and I like to see others' creative works.
- I've already been to one convention, and will likely attend others someday.
- I'm working on a partial fursuit.
- I like some of the adult artwork etc.
- I have a fursona or two, but they're works in progress.
- SF/Fantasy RP can be fun.
- Nope. At least not at the moment. Furry means too many things to different people. Who's to say whether I fit all their various definitions? At the end of the day, I'm just me.

+ 0.5 -- I have never gone. I think it'd be neat / cool to go at least once. I have no current arrangements or plans for doing so.

+ 0.5 -- I do enjoy "RP" / "roleplaying" here and there, but I don't do it much. Very rare; will depend on my writing mood, if anything. Not a common thing, but not opposed. (ONLINE ONLY, for sake of mention / "if that matters here.")

+ 0.5 -- If someone asks or someone is a furry or whichever, I will be open and honest about it. I don't publicly put it on blast or anything, though. Some of my closest friends know 'cause they have my handle info, but most others don't 'cause it's not really an out there relevant thingy. Or whichever.

So I'd say, 4.5 out of 7. But in the simplest "Y/N" function, I guess I'd meet up or match in all categories, somehow / somewhere / someway.

I ended up voting for almost all of them. I started out in this community as a distant art admirier and then eventually decided to join as an artist. I obviously started out drawing my on fursona first and foremost, then practicing on drawing others. I feel that my involvement in this community has had a very positive impact on my art skills.

As for RP, I had an interest in it long before I ever heard of the community. I don't RP very much anymore because I lose interest a lot and get too busy/forget to stay caught up (and make other more serious RPers hate me)

I have only been to 1 convention (anime convention) and I liked it so I would like to go again. Also interested in attending some of the more local fur cons that happen (FurSquared & MFF specifically)

Very recently I put down a down-payment for my first fursuit head. I already own several tails and will probably either commission or attempt making a set of dragon hands & armsleeves to make a complete partial. I might also try to make myself a longer tail since I'm quite fond of my 4ft floor dragger.

I'm seeking to become more open about my involvement in the community & my love of anthropomorphic creatures, but only in a subtle way. I've openly worn a tail in public a few times, as well as wearing them at the convention I went to. I own a few more "subtle" fur accessories, such as T shirts, an ear hat (soon adding a dragon hat to that collection) and a keychain tail.

When I get my partial the involvement will be much more solidified, and I'll have metamorphosed into a beautiful furfag.

well, my persona is an anthropomorphic gator... i go by 'gator' irl so, ya know, it makes sense.
i do enjoy anthro stuff in art and such, being fond of animals and cartoons, and i occasionally draw them. some of my OCs are anthro things, so sure, if i'm not drawing them myself, i may at some point get art of them from someone else.
i have been RPing since middle school, and have been using it to develop a world/ongoing story/characters with my best friend for the past several years. it's not really relevant to "furry fandom", but again, some of the characters are anthro things, so i guess it counts.
i'd honestly love to have a costume of my persona if it were possible, even if i didn't have any occasion to wear it.
i dunno about cons and shit, maybe that'd sound more fun if i actually had friends who were interested in going.
uh. as far as sex stuff goes, "furry" or "not furry" is kinda like gender for me; i have some preferences regarding each, but whether it's one or the other doesn't actually make a difference to me. if it's hot, it's hot. doesn't have to be furry, but can be. /shrug
as for calling myself a furry, i don't really see the need to, though i guess i count as one so it's not like i'm denying it either. it's just not a big deal to me.
