How many yards of fur should I buy?

I’m making my first fursuit and it’s so far turning out good. I am making my character Cherry and she’s a soda roo. I already made the base I just need to fur it. I went to go order but I don’t know how much to get. How many yards is a typical fursuit head?

My suggestion would be to apply the tape to the head, draw on the designs, take the tape off, and lay it flat.

As you know, first typically sold by the yard. So arrange the tape pieces fore each color you'll need, and measure the space around it. You should be able to figure out how much you need that way! I hope it helps!
