Fruit bats eat fruit for a reason. :v

Fruit bats have terrible eye sight, like all the other bats, but they rely on smell instead of echo-location. They're too lazy to chase insects and other creatures by smell. Fruits are stationary. Also a fruit bat is about the size of a durian.

fruit bats are actually very large in size. just look at the flying fox, those fuckers are huge.
also, my design for my sona is mostly based on the egyptian fruit bat (wingspan 2 feet long), which do have echolocation. they are the only species of fruit bat with echolocation.
