My 87 year old mom fell out of the bed and busted her head open last night. 4 hours in the emergency room getting a CAT scan and staples in her head. Got home about 4am. About 8 am we get a phone call informing us mom's sister just died. So I'd say it sucks.

I'm on my period recovering from a urinary tract infection and my socks are wet because I wore slides while rinsing tables outside. It could definitely be worse though.

911 Dispatcher
The day has been pretty good for me, I'm a 911 dispatcher for the city next to me, had a usual day dealing mostly with medical calls (chest pain, injuried person and lift assist calls) since I only do the fire department and EMS side and not the police side (another dispatcher does the PD side) I'll sometimes get a more serious call like a car accident, smoke investigation or structure fire call but for the most part it's just medical calls, overall I love helping people and I feel like I did what I could today keeping everyone alive and getting the help they need at that current time.

Hectic, had my last day of work before a hurricane makes it's way over my area. I will probably lose power overnight.

Pretty bad. Been sick for the past few days with not covid and while the worst symptoms are over I'm still tired and achy as hell. And with working extra shifts thruout the week it might take a while to rest enough to recover. I'm resting now but I'm too tired to do anything other than lie down and stare at phone tbh

My day sucked buttermilk. I have a massive head cold, coughing from sinus drain, sneezing, runny nose, head full of mucus, watery eyes, the whole enchilada. Then I have to help drive a 60mm bearing out of a GM car air conditioning compressor clutch (the daughter's 1999 Pontiac Firebird Convertible) and drive a new one in. Then I had to go help the wife unit go retrieve a BIG corner curio cabinet that's not that heavy, just entirely too awkward to move. Yeah.

Mine was honestly pretty boring. I'm slowly realising that drawing is the way to go, sometimes when i draw i just get that good dopamine in my brain and slowly feel happy expecilly with some music, i get all that depression and other dark stuff out of my head and start daydreaming new ideas to draw on paper..

Boring. Sat inside all day, listening to Bob Ross and building a route for Train Simulator.

Also, it's getting colder outside, and I don't like cold weather. I wish I had a big, floofy anthro skunk or anthro horse that I could snuggle with to keep me warm.

I'll get back to this by the end of the day, but.... today's going to be a mixed bag.

Saturdays tend to be a down day for me... but for this one, I'm finally acquiring the files for all the content from that insane $10 Ukraine itch.io bundle some months back. (Seriously, if I get thousands of items for that little money, I am going to TRY to use them!)

Downloads are pretty much going to take much of the day... and then there's the matter of sorting them, which will likely take weeks.

Wonderful, unions are withholding gas so I have to use shitty public transportation (doubling the duration of my commute) because the shitheads thinkk they can get away with taking advantage of shit situation to demand more monay, take half the country hostage to obtain it. Anyway I came up with more scenarios for comic strips while on the germ-infested trains so there's that. Got infatuated with some old German comic book series lately, ordered some from ebay, there's this to look forward to. Skeletal, ambient amount of work at job. Home by midday. Enjoyed every minute of it. Wine.
