I am a week in Budapest... Any Sights ??

I will be a week in Budapest any recommended locations there ???

It did make me wonder about the name, as in, did somebody meet The Buddha, and find him a pest, or did Buddha visit there and pester people, and so it got called Buddhapest, and then, they changed the spelling? Well, probably not. But my mind wanders in odd ways.

In terms of historical locations, St. Stephen's Basilica is quite impressive, while there are also a number of fortresses and castles you might want to visit, with Buda Castle probably being the most significant and extensive, it having been the seat of Hungarian kings, with parts of it date to the Middle Ages.

It actually is the capital city of Hungary
