I need a little help

I am a writer but I do want to start drawing. But I do want to start small,dose anyone have an idea of where I should begin?

Don't worry about doing anything digitally yet, just grab a pencil and paper and work it.

Draw like crazy. Draw things you see in real life. Don't draw what is in your head. Don't copy what others have done. Fill up sketchbooks. BE the pencil.

We can't give many pointers until you give us something to look at.
