Okay so I became a furry a year ago but recently have gotten deeper into it. I have started drawing furry art (not porn I am not a fan of furry porn) and lately I have been drawing on the computer so I can post it on fur affinity. But there is one problem, my dad HATES furies.
That wouldn't be so bad except I have my desk in a way so when you open the door you can just instantly see my computer and the screen,
so I have had some close calls with my dad (even while writing this I had a close call). Any advice on if I should just tell him or what to do if he finds out? And if you think I should tell him how should I go about it?

i HATED that fear of drawing something on the computer and being scared of getting caught. Not even getting in trouble, just the awkward feeling afterwards. As Jumbo said, something that helps a lot is to angle the computer differently to get a better feel of the room and make it more your own personal space/area. If you don't feel comfortable with talking to your dad about it, i'd wait until moving out to get really deep into the matter, keep it on a downlow until then OR tell him about it if you feel confident it wont mess up your relationship with him.

if you have a phone i would suggest doing faf on there. As for drawing you need to do it when he is out.

I'm thinking he'll feel a little differently once he finds out you're one, but I know drama commonly associated with letting that slip is no fun.
If you can orient the desktop or table differently that would be the thing. But maybe you could strategically plant a mirror to see him coming?

Tell him about it. If he doesn't want you to do it, then give it up. Family is more important than anything here.
I disagree to the highest extent if a family member doesn't like you for what you like or tires to change you stay strong because you can choose your friends as easy as choosing your family.

Lie and say you like drawing Anthro animals, but that doesn't make you a Furry. Don't bring up the porn side. If he does, just admit you don't like that sort. There are plenty of people who like Anthros, but don't associate themselves as being a Furry.

How to go about talking to him, "What, you don't like Looney Tunes? Boy you must be some kind of screwed up in the head ii that's the case."

How to deal with him seeing the computer screen: rearrange the room completely to cover the fact you really just wanted the desk moved. Claim it's more ergonomic.

The only problem is the way my room is set up you can kind of see the computer no matter where you put it and the only wall where it would work is a big closet which would look very suspicious if I just block but thanks for the idea. And for telling him idk because all he really has seen of it is the CSI episode and what he has heard from his gamer friends. One time I let it slip my friend was a furry and he wouldn't let me hang out for weeks so if he found out he might not even be mad at me but my friends, and not allow me to see them.

Like I said above with the desk but for locking the door I was the lucky one to get a door without a lock.

I had this problem too until I found out how easy it is to take apart a door handle and install a lock. If you have a similar handle to those with locks, it's usually just a matter of switching a small part. It winds up being a small amount of effort for tons of freedom.

Edit:
You could also get a privacy screen filter if getting a lock doesn't pan out. They make your screen look black at wide angles.
