Bug/Site Problem: I really have no idea what to make of this

In case the image URL doesn't work, sorry, I don't know where or how to post this properly as I'm rather new to this site: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/7165903

I've been a cluts and inserted details, I changed my username and password immediately after that post but, was this a hack?
My main system became unstable afterwards and is now inaccessible, I just pray it's hardware and not malware, would someone look this up so we can prevent other system fatalities, if this was a hacker's attempt?

Huh, that's a weird one. I've had the ''Administrator log-in required'' messages which look like that before, but never that. (and I wasn't aware that it was possible to change usernames on the main site...)

[Control Panel] => [Account Settings] => Change Password is last option...
My system took a hard hit, still recovering data and preparing a virus scan for the next restart...

I am legion, for we are many.
I'm guessing it's a cache freak incident with your browser, but no doubt the techies can give you some more helpful info, here.

Haha, hooray for viglink. There's a few hits on Google with the same thing, all fairly recent. I guess something on their end is going a little crazy.

I'm assuming someone screwed up at viglink and made their spying script require authentication. I can't reproduce it no matter how much I try to unblock them.

Doesn't look like a hack though.

This isn't FA's fault at all. The site/forum isn't compromised, I just embedded a fake image in my first post. The only way to stop me from doing that would be to disable IMG tags. But I've edited it out now anyway.

Also, other witty passwords were:

AbrahamJesusMuhammad : filthysandniggerterrorists
dragoneer : d1g1m0nd1ck6969

Viglink issue. Some wise guy set one or several of their include-able scripts to require authentication, probably by a mistake or an oversight. If that hasn't been resolved from their side already it soon will be.
Disregard such prompts if you see them in the mean time.
It's not a hack or an attempt at data mining, just a mis-configuration of Viglink's servers.

As fun as it might be, I'm going to ask you to refrain from this kind of jokes in the future. While I don't think anyone is, ahem, simple minded enough to fall for this it does sow the seeds of unnecessary paranoia and distrust towards what is otherwise a normal tool at server administrator's disposal. Not to mention giving people yet another thing to complain about and blame FA's for.

Is anybody who has seen this on FA going to get any insight to this? Or are they going to have to end up stumbling on this thread if they enter the forums?

Sorry :[

It could have been worse though, remember that time when we could use HTML in our posts?

I'm still annoyed with myself for not abusing that more than I did!

Thank you, everyone, I've read the comments, seems I stirred a bit. Apologies, my computer never really gave any massive issues until after that message and naturally I assume since FA has been the target of hackers in the past that this may be have contained a virus that corrupts O/S... Next time I would think before I post.

The Image is removed from my portfolio hence.
