If there was a tournament of Sonas...

I had this idea for a while now and now that it is 2020 I want to maybe turn this thing into something that nobody else try to do in this manner for this forum...but before I say anymore I just have a big question that is if you were put into a original character tournament what would be your character stats, strengths, weaknesses, and overall weapon of choice?

Ladies, form a line.
Hard to tell stats exactly, since everyone would be balanced with each other. Strengths would be straight up melee combat, and incredible endurance and sturdiness. Weaknesses would be slow speed and lack of magical ability. Weapon of choice is good old sword and shield, with fire breath for longer range and harrying.

Atk: 42
Def: 20
Spd: 65 (65 of 100)
Weakness: none (it'll be a fair fight)
Weapon: obsidian spear (blessed by Pele, goddess of volcanoes) rope hook and dual shark tooth swords (all do same damage, just add reach or agility)

Not necessarily as I would definitely allow people to be powerful but just not God level especially if the person is trying for something that does not go good with their character and does not make sense for their character at all either. Like if your character has a kamehamaha but your character does not come from the Dragon Ball Z universe and don't have any background of learning said move or Paul said move was learned.

Not balanced in the abstract, but balanced against each other.

Aika won't last forever unless by some miracle, but he'd at least give it his all... Also he wouldn't"finish off" his opponents, he only kills to eat and i hope none of his opponents are fish

Understandable as I would definitely want to have a tournament Especially since I have a plot already written down... but I would want everything to be balanced so that the fight could be fair for both parties.

That's what I mean, yeah. Seems a bit pointless to join with my medieval fantasy sword-and-board style when we also have futuristic people with energy swords and lasers running around that wouldn't give characters like mine a chance - better for all to be equal.

I typically prefer a more realistic power level, but if people prefer an over-the-top anime style power level, I could go for that too.

I'm not sure what my stats would be
Strength would definitely be high speed and agility. Guifrog's an excellent acrobat!
But he's not very strong. The amount of HP he'd take from someone would be below average; besides, he doesn't use weapons and relies more on his punches and kicks.
Magic-wise, if he has enough time to concentrate energy in his fingertips, he might be able to shoot mucus-bullets against the opponent. At least they get to hear nice melodic phrases while being attacked!

I understand that as I do sometimes do that but when it comes down to fighting in an actual tournament I would ask them to use days or use the dice system where it would roll for you. To make sure that everything is even and if you both are fighting it would be a game of chance. I would even do a tournament where I would have people vote kind of like death battle. I think that I will definitely do that as it would be very good in the way of a idea.

True, but I'm talking more flavour than mechanics at this point. This sounds like it could be some fun!

I just posted something about it and it will be done here I promise you that and the tournament will start on the 13th and will end on April fools day.
