I WOULD!!1! ID LOVE TO BE SOI was thinking about this yesterday, if I could become my sona would I? I personally would, but I feel like it could cause some problems as well with the whole society being so "accepting" of the furry fandom so I was just wondering how many people would![]()
just dont get lost in your trip; space can be really bigGiven everything my fursona can do, yeah... in a heartbeat! No worries about being accepted by society. I’d spend the day teleporting from star to star, flying in the atmospheres of gas giants and landing on every interesting rock I find. I doubt I’d return to Earth until I had to!
Yeah I couldn’t stray too far! Telnac may be able to teleport from star to star but he doesn’t have giant telescopes for eyes so with accurate star charts downloaded ahead of time, could safely go a maybe few hundred light-years away. Beyond that, orange dwarf and smaller stars become too faint even for Earth-based telescopes and parallax yields too high an uncertainty in the distances of the stars and Earth for star charts to be all that accurate. I could probably navigate well enough using only the brightest stars to get back to our stellar neighborhood but if I stray more than a thousand light years or so even the brightest stars as seen from Earth would be too dim to detect and other bright stars would be visible which would throw off any hope of navigation.just dont get lost in your trip; space can be really big![]()
For a day? Count me in the *Hell Yeah* category
Forever? Probably not. Even my old Direwolf would always have to watch for hungry teleporting Dragons, cunning bionically enhanced Sergals and Skunks pissed off at the current political environment.![]()
Well uh, that, and traveling at the speed of light would do WEIRD things to relativity. Remember that rule, For a Day? Well, since you effectively time traveled by going so fast to go to a different place, you've just gone into the future! Which means your day has passed and now you're a human floating in space. Whoops...Yeah I couldn’t stray too far! As for staying more than a day, no. Telnac runs on Helium-3 fusion. He has enough fuel for many years but Helium-3 isn’t naturally found on Earth. It’s abundant in Lunar regolith which in Telnac’s time is regularly mined & processed to extract Helium-3 but in our time such facilities are decades away. If I stayed as Telnac forever I’d starve to death before such facilities are built.
I could build a lunar regolith mining facility, but I couldn’t hide it from lunar probes, even if I put it on the far side of the Moon. Once it was detected you can bet the US military would see it as a threat & destroy it before it could produce much Helium-3.
Telnac teleports using an alien-built FTL quantum leap device. When following space-like curves (avoiding teleporting into reference frames moving a significant fraction of the speed of light and deep gravity wells like near neutron stars or black holes) FTL isn’t a problem. If I were to do something crazy like jump to the edge of the observable Universe and back then yes, causality violations could result. But I’m only interested in exploring space, not time travel!Well uh, that, and traveling at the speed of light would do WEIRD things to relativity. Remember that rule, For a Day? Even if the teleportation was limited to light speed, who’s to say that the day isn’t measured by my frame of reference? If that was the case I could go exploring for a day as measured by my watch and when I return to Earth many thousands of years will have passed! If that were the case, I’d insist on taking my son with me. The rest of you can have fun with the whole getting old & dying thing. I’ll be sure to take a piss on your graves when I arrive in the future!![]()
God punished you for excessive fapping :VYes, I would. Permanently too if possible. Well, except for half my arm missing..
There is no such thing as too much fapping! D:God punished you for excessive fapping :V
