I am not here to talk, but to listen. Is there something you want to talk about? You can try though i don't know how much good it will do, as years of social anxiety have certainly taken their toll on me :/

Just thought I'd also add that for those who are generally "ok" but suddenly notice swings into extreme depression and suicidal tendencies...
Check what you're eating. I know, it sounds crazy, but over the past couple of years I've discovered that I'm extremely sensitive to non-fermented soy products. This is because Phytoestrogens (plant estrogens) are similar enough to human estrogens that they will be accepted by your estrogen receptors in your body, but they CLOG the receptors. This will throw the balance of your body's hormones completely out of whack, depending on how your hormone levels are already.
Literally within hours of unknowingly eating something with soybean oil in it....I get moody. By 8- 12 hours I'm suicidal and feeling worthless, and have no idea why or how anyone could love me. I hate myself, and have no idea why, which just makes it worse. Sometimes I even lash out at those I love, because I want them to realize how worthless I am too. It sometimes takes as as long as a couple of days for my hormones to balance themselves out enough again that I feel normal again. Thankfully, I have a very, very loving and caring mate who knows me, and knows when something is wrong, and who helps keep me safe during these times.
So much of our food is now made with Soybean oil. Processed meats are often adulterated with textured soy proteins. It can be almost impossible to go to the store and get any kind of packaged, or pre-made foods and have it not have soybean oil. There's only one pizza in the entire local grocery store that I can eat safely. The rest have soybean oil in the crust. Even ICE CREAM often has soybean oil in it. I have to buy the more expensive stuff to get around it when I want it.
I've bought sausages, brought them home, and realized after the fact that it too had soy as a filler. I have to religiously check the labels of everything. Potato chips? Soybean oil. Cookies? Soybean oil, salad dressing? Soybean oil, Alfredo sauce? Soybean oil. It never seems to end. Even the damn hot dog buns and breads. Eating out is even a risk as a result.
I know it won't affect everyone to the level that it affects me, but I know I'm not the only one. A lot of people won't even make the connection normally to what they eat potentially affecting their hormone levels...they won't even think about why they might feel the way they feel, and just think they're crazy.... So I'm writing this to bring it to your attention. Look at what you eat, check the labels, make notes of when you feel at your worst, compare these things and see if there is any correlation. You might find something surprising, and be able to help yourself if only a little.
Some people fast to stay healthy so
For me, depression affects my eating habits. When I fell down, I eat less. Even what I eat, I don't really want to eat them and I bearly able to taste it. It feels like a chore to eat anything at those times.Just thought I'd also add that for those who are generally "ok" but suddenly notice swings into extreme depression and suicidal tendencies...

Pretty sure people had it then too...Is depression a new fad? Most people a few decades ago didnt even know what depression is, now most seem to have it. Huh
