I remember working with 2 kids with aspergers syndrome as a mentor type figure while they were getting used to college and being on campus full time. Real bright kids, although one of them was a little spooky because he was really gung ho about krav maga and didn't know when to stop. The two knew each other and were mutually unaware of each other's autism and thought the other one was a fucking nutcase. Watching them interact and try really hard to be nice only to ultimately stomp off like "WHATEVER THAT GUY'S A FUCKING WEIRDO" was better than cable.
Shouldn't you have been ... oh I don't know, mentoring them instead of treating them as zoo-animals then?
