for me canned soup sucks...with the exception of tomato.
but you may like canned soup, if so what kinds ? (tell us the brand too please)

im a m a fan of clam crowder, i love me some calm chowder...
but what the hell is "campbells soup" trying to serve me?
talk about watered down BLAND poo.....
But at this litttle dinner (that didn't last a week) they had real clam chowder...mmmmm, it went "sclerp" when you took the spoon out it was so thick

I like canned soup. But only Chicken Noodle and Tomato soups. My grandmother makes her own vegetable soup. It's really great. She puts them in vacuum sealed jars.

i guess my biggest beef (no pun intended) with canned soup is the broth...
never it seems can i find a soup with a nice thick broth or base from a can...

i know what you mean, at my dads his gf cooks the food and its always so watery. thats why i like Potato soup, but i rater eat a more dense soup than a less dense one.

Only canned soup I tolerate is Tomato. Make it with cream or milk instead of water, and it's pretty damn tasty. GRILLED CHEESE IS A MUST. I sometimes use the consumee' soups for various cooking tasks as well, but I'd never eat them. The occasional chicken noodle is fine too, but only when it's cold and I'm in a hurry.

I agree I hate caned soup it taste like fail and smells like piss most of the time. Pregresso has some decent caned soups though.

Also, I like Campell's chicken noodle soup. Don't know why, because there's not much to it.

I only eat one type of canned soup and that's Progresso Tomato Basil. I love it so much by itself and you can also use it to add flavor to other dishes.

My favorite canned soups are Campbell's Chunky soups, Chicken Noodle, Cream of Chicken, and Tomato. Yeah that's about it.

Tough I'd rather take a big ol bowl of my mom's homemade vegetable soup or beef stew made with fresh tomato juice that my mom prepares when tomatoes are plentiful.

Used to eat tons of canned... well, canned everything back in college, basically lived off of cheap food for years.

Now the only time I have soup is when I occasionally go out to eat and the resturant has good soup.

But yeah, tomato, chicken noodle, cream of mushroom (I liked it!), and the occasional chowders.

I haven't been too disappointed with the Progresso stuff.

I typically use Cream of Mushroom whenever I'm making a casserole.

I really wish they would sell canned stock. Average American home cooking would be so much better if we stopped using cream of chicken as a basic ingredient, kicked Rachael Ray off the air, and returned to the basic principles of real cooking.

I always loved soup cups, and chicken noodle soup. I don't like progresso soup anymore though, I have eaten so much of it I don't want to see another can of that crap again.
