I'm always the same irl or furred, it matters not. I have my own issues with people, but I
try to be respectful. It's never my intention to be cruel, though I fear that I maybe perceived as such sometimes. And I more often than not, pick the side of a situation that I feel is being bullied.

Nope. I don't trust anyone on the internet, because I'm sure that the moment I give out any information about myself that isn't false or modified, someone's going to start stalking me. It must be a miracle that it hasn't happened yet.

I have seen too many furries be the victims of phishing. Also I cringed when using the word "victim". I'm not used to calling furries that.

I'm somewhat Socially Awkward, so my IRL furry side is trying so very hard to fit in.

Online, I'm more forward than I'd ever be in person. "YOU MANGY, DIRTY FURRIES." And so on.

I think it's because furries tend to think that there are only people like them in the fandom. (Like that other thread, about finding furries IRL.) But people get screwed over online all the time. It's ever starting to happen over Xbox live.

Though honestly, while I feel for people who get their identities stolen because some idiot at the bank let their information out, I find it really hard to pity people who become "victims" because they sent out there own information. Honestly, if you include where you live, where you work, and where you hang out in a profile of yourself that you've set on public, whatever happens to you, you were kinda asking for it...

And this is still on topic, because this is the furry part of me being an enourmous asshole...

Mom was recently a victim of phishing I believe, considering she lost money out of her bank account to some website she knows nothing about.\

Told her to keep her protection on the comp up to date. If I don't make sure AVG and spybot are fully up to date and functional, mom certainly wont make sure.

I have never had a problem like this, but I am careful about what details I give out online. My name, I don't care if people find out my real name or not, bank details and other important details? now that is something that stays hidden.

I generally keep to myself for the most part. If I have a soft side then I don't know about it.

Glad we stayed on track - and good to hear your side of things.

I think that it is only healthy to be yourself. Sadly, often real life stops you saying or expressing things that you really want to. These forums are great for letting off a the presure. I'm still being too polite here though:rolleyes:. Give it time;).

I wouldn't say it's my softer side. More just an acceptance of something I've always been: an uber-geek who's into dragons & androids... to the point that I'd create one if I could (and happily have my mind downloaded into a similar machine when I get old enough.)

So it's fair to say that it's more of my fun side, the social side & the side that isn't a hardcore workaholic.

Sometimes. But I wouldn't say that I'm not myself outside of the internet. I mean, being a furry is something of a massive part of who I am. (About 60% of what I do online is furry or tf related.) But it's not the cornerstone of my existence.

I actually change quite a bit depending on who (whom?) I'm with. My friends know me as someone completely different than my family. And you guys know me as someone who's completely different from either of the other two.

This is exactly like me. Lol this reminds me of a time when my friend and his family had a fight over if I ate a lot or a little, because they all had different opinions >_> My friends IRL know me entirely different than my family and same goes with online friends. Its crazy lol XD

No idea, it would do things that I wouldn't do IRL due to my friends. They know I am weird but not crazy, however I do let the furry side out around one of my friends. We hug alot and stay close and touchy, kinda jokingly kinda not.

What the hell is this furry side shit? I'm sorry but I don't have a "furry" personality that I use on the internet. If you arn't a freak its not like you have anything to hid- Oh wait... furries....
