Can we change to a more pleasant topic. I'm reading this and the white castle I had is threatening to come up
We don't have White Castles where I live. We have Krystals.

Ok I'm currently bleeding.
I learned a trick about cuts that was pretty awesome. If you ever get cut, put copious amounts of sugar on it. A nurse friend told me about it. I cut my finger once and put my finger in the sugar bowl. The sugar clotted the blood, and later, it made it where it barely hurt while healing.

Story someone wrote for me
Battle after battle, Ares the Houndoom fought, ever glad to bring happiness to his master, Eric. They had been through much together, often fighting for survival in their time journeying. All too many hardships had come their way, and every one of them they faced and they defeated. Ares was content when Eric made the decision to settle down in a relaxing home. They had never become champions. They were never the best. They never needed to be. Eric was his best friend, whom he trusted with his life. He had a deep respect and love for him, happy to relax with him, and to wear the scars he had gained from his career battling. There were still many battles for fun, but no longer with such lofty aspirations. He had a good life, never anything to complain about, except getting a bath, especially as a fire type. He was content, at least for a time. Then that day finally came. Eric had been out and about for longer than expected, and had given Ares no clue of when he'd return. He wasn't worried. Eric was strong for a human. It would take a lot to bring him down. He rumbled a bit in contentment as he heard those familiar footsteps coming up the walk of the small house. He got up to his paws, stretching a bit and heading over to the door as he heard the lock tumble open. “Hey buddy,” Eric said with a smile, rubbing his muzzle gently. “Got a surprise for you. A new friend.” He motioned behind him, a little Eevee walking in with a smile on her face and a pink bow tied on her left ear. “Ares, this is Holly.” The human smiled as the Eevee stepped up closer, sniffing Ares' nose, before leaping back in a playful stance. She jumped forward, a paw coming down on the Houndoom's nose, making him pull back a bit. It was clear from the look on his face he was not at all amused. He really hoped it was all just excitement from having a new home and that it would wear off after a time. Such was not his luck.

Every day, Holly stayed just as cheery. She would always become so excited and happy at the smallest things, things to which Ares never bothered to pay any mind. Whether it be chasing a butterfly outside, or leaping into a bath, often splashing him with water in the process. Every time, she would just smile that syrupy sweet grin and apologize to him. He would simply grumble and mutter under his breath how he wished she'd evolve into a Glaceon, but he wouldn't ever continue with that. Eric was ignorant to any of their conversations, not able to understand any of what they were saying. Ares wanted so strongly to give that little Holly a piece of his mind, but then he always saw how much Eric loved to stroke her ears, listening to her purr, and even seeing him fall asleep with her on his lap. Eric loved that little Eevee. He didn't want to risk upsetting her and souring things between her and Eric. He kept his mouth shut, kept his disdain to himself, his mumbles the only thing Holly ever heard of it. She could tell he didn't like her, and she wanted to change that. She always tried her best, but every thing she did, he just seemed to be more and more unhappy with her around.

Two and a half years passed like this. Each day, Eric continued to grow more and more fond of Holly, to the point Ares almost felt left out. He was never ignored, but he no longer felt like he was his master's go to pokemon. He felt as though all those good memories of battling together, relying on each other, had grown far too distant in the human's mind. He didn't let either of them see it, but there were a few nights it actually did make him cry silently to himself. Holly could tell, though. She wanted to make things right with him, somehow. She saw her opportunity one of the few nights that Eric left them at the house by themselves, out on a camping trip with his brother. He trusted the pokemon could take care of themselves for a few days with him gone. She took a deep breath, approaching the Houndoom with a smile. “Hey, Ares! Come on, let's go play!”
He was lying down, taking a nap, but lifted his head to grumble at her. “What about me makes you think I want to play right now?”
“You're always so grumpy. Let's play. It'll cheer you up! Or if you don't want to play, what do you want to do?”
“You know what I really want to do?” he said, growling loudly as he stood up. “What I really want to do is tie you up, take you out to that icy rock they found in Snowpoint, shove a Rare Candy up your ass, watch you shiver until it digests and you evolve into a Glaceon, then blast you with a couple Fire Blasts until you lie there twitching!” He panted as he finally let out all his frustration and rage he felt towards the little Eevee. “You became Eric's favorite so quickly. I fought to prove to his parents I was the best choice to be his first pokemon! I've taken countless hits for him! I've helped shield him from the elements that threatened to kill us both! Every scar on this face, every patch of missing fur on this body, all of them I took to help my best friend in the world! Then you show up. You swoop in here, with those big puppy dog eyes and that annoying, incurable sweet happy face. You're always just coasting through life, cozying up to him, acting like a newborn puppy. Why don't you just grow the hell up and take life seriously for a change?!”

The Eevee stepped back, her ears drooping for the first time since Ares met her. Tears filled her eyes as she stepped further back. He could hear her sobbing voice as she looked at him. “I know...I know I'm not a puppy anymore. You think I haven't struggled? That I haven't fought?” She whimpered as she stepped away, before slowly walking back to Eric's bedroom, then running out the door. He headed back to the bedroom, seeing Holly's bow and collar sitting on the bed. He huffed to himself, before lying on the bed. “Finally, I can take a nap without someone pouncing all over me.”

Oh no, I got it cause I picked off a scab because I don't want to heal.

Just as he said, he was able to take his nap, but when he awoke, he found Holly still hadn't returned, and it was dark outside. He looked up, sniffing the bow, then heading outside. “Did she...really run off?” He shook his head. Much as he detested her, Eric loved her, and he couldn't let anything bad happen to her. “Annoying as ever, even when she's not around.” He sniffed the air, luckily able to pick up her trail. “Where in the world could you have gone?” he said, growling a bit. “If I have to drag home your corpse, I'm gonna kill you all over again.” He headed off into the night after locking the door, Eric having installed special locks that his pokemon to hit when they left.

The trail led him north, mostly going through rather open paths and patches of land. As he followed the trail, he could smell something else. Something sweet. He took a deeper sniff. “Is that...No. There's no way she'd actually do it!” He began to pick up speed. “I've got to hurry!” No sooner did he say that then he got met by a duo of Weavile, who spotted the bow in his mouth.
“Hey, bro. Smells like he's with that Eevee from earlier.”
“You saw Holly?” the Houndoom bark, staring at them. He lunged forward, pinning one to the ground. “You want to walk away from here unharmed, you'd best tell me where she went, and what you did to her!” The other Weavile jumped on his back, claws sinking in. This did little to deter the battle-hardened 'Doom' who promptly threw the attacker off, sending a Fire Blast into his face as he flew away. The one pinned under him covered his head, seeing this fire-type meant business.
“Easy, easy! We don't want any trouble!”
“Where is she?!” he shouted, the Weavile cowering under him.
“Look, she headed north! We were just playing a prank with her. She gave us some berries and we let her pass! Honest! She muttered something about being like us soon. No idea what that meant.”
Ares grumbled a bit, letting him up. “Fine. Now get out of here before I decide to toast you like I did your brother.” He looked to the north, sighing a bit. “You really are planning to, aren't you? Damn it, Holly!” He took off to the north again, growling the whole way.

It was morning before he started to get into a heavily snowy area. Snow Point city. He knew the Eevee wouldn't last long in this kind of cold. He gave thanks that fresh snow had fallen, Holly's paws leaving a fresh trail in the snow. Her steps were close together, Holly getting slower as she was getting colder. He made his way closer finally catching sight of her in the distance as she sat down beside a large icy rock. “Holly!” He ran forward seeing her fiddling with something in her paws. A solid leap and he managed to pin her down, panting. “What the hell do you think you're doing?!”
“Exactly what you wanted,” she said, looking up at him with frozen tears on her cheeks. “You wanted me to be a Glaceon, right? I brought the Rare Candy. All I need is to eat it and I'll evolve. Isn't that what you said?”
He shook his head, swiping his paw across her face, leaving a few claw marks. “You freaking idiot! You'd evolve yourself, permanently change yourself, just for someone who basically said they hate you? What is wrong with you? Why would you even think of something like that?”
“Because I...” She looked away. “Eric is my best friend, too. If your his best friend, I want to be a friend to you as well, but... I just can't seem to make you like me. I thought maybe if I did this, let you attack me, maybe that would help you finally get out all that hatred.” She whimpered a bit. “I'm used to being hated, you know. Eric isn't the first person who took me in.”
Ares put a paw on her mouth. “Let's get you out of this cold before we continue talking.” He scooped up the rare candy with a pawful of snow, tucking it under his collar. At his lead, she followed him back to Snow Point city nearby, where they were allowed into the pokemon center. He sat in front of her, pulling her under his belly where she could warm up. “All right. Now explain.”

She shivered a bit, even as she was starting to warm up. “From the time I was hatched, I was hated. My first trainer took me to this judge person. I don't remember what he said, but after my trainer heard it, his face turned sour. He looked at me with contempt. He carried me out of the city, set me down, and shouted at me. Called me a 'weak, worthless reject' and chased me out until I couldn't see him anymore. I didn't dare to look back. I was now a wild pokemon. I soon learned just what he meant when he called me weak. All my efforts to fight, to protect myself, ended in failure. All the pokemon I met, so many of them wanted me gone, and some even tried to kill me. I was forced to scrounge for whatever scraps I could find just to have a meal to eat. Day after day spent out in the pouring rain, the freezing cold, never knowing if I was going to find something to eat or if my hunger would be the end of me like that. I lived like this until I was found by a human who had a kind heart. Even as I tried to slip away from her, she scooped me up. I thought this was going to be my end, but I was wrong. I was given a bath, a haircut, a warm bed, and food. She didn't call me weak. She gave me a home. She gave me my name. She...she gave me love. The first time I had ever felt love in my entire life, and I wanted to be like her.

“I grew up with her, watching her, learning from her. I could see she faced hard times like anyone else, but what was different was she would smile through them. She would laugh. If she found someone else hurting, she would try to make them smile. I admired that about her. I wanted to be like that, and she helped teach me how, even if she didn't understand a word I was saying. I was so sad when the day came she...she passed on. She was a very kind older lady, but time come for us all. Even though I was sad, I smiled through it. I tried to make others smile, tried to help them through their grief at losing her, and it worked. They said I was just like her, and that's what I had always wanted. One of them took me in, but they were looking for a home for me, knowing I couldn't stay with them. That's when...they found Eric. He was so warm and welcoming. When I saw you, saw all those scars, I thought you'd been through a rough life. I wanted to make you smile, the way my first real owner made me smile. I wanted to help you.”

Ares looked down into her eyes. “And when it didn't work, you jumped to the conclusion of letting yourself become a punching bag for my fire blasts as the only way to cheer me up? Holly, you annoy me, and I've kept it inside because I know how much Eric likes having you around, but I don't actually want you to end up hurt. Why do you think I came all this way to get you?” He put his paws around her, helping her warm up. “To even go so far as evolving yourself, something you can never undo, just to please me. You are such a foolish Eevee.” For the first time, Holly looked up and saw him smile. “Of course, if you really want to become a Glaceon, regardless of what I think, then I'll give you the chance. So, little Holly. What's your answer? Are you going to become a Glaceon of your own free will, or are you going to walk home with me as an Eevee? I'm sure Eric would still welcome you either way.”
She looked up at him. “You promise you won't Fire Blast me if I do evolve?”
“I promise,” he said with a chuckle. “I swear on these scars I earned in my battles.”

Holly closed her eyes, smirking a bit. “It would be appropriate in a way. Set us as total opposites of fire and ice.” She kept in thought for quite some time while being warmed by Ares' belly. “Then...I'll do it,” she said, much to Ares' surprise. “It'll be nice to feel stronger.”
Hearing her determination in her voice, he chuckled a bit. “Maybe you'll be just a little less childish then,” he said, getting back to his feet. He led the way back to the icy rock, shaking the candy from his collar. She looked to it for a few moments, considering what she was about to do. She took a deep breath, crunching the candy. Her body reacted with the nearby icy stone, beginning to shine as the process started. He stepped back to watch, actually smiling as her body changed and she emerged as an absolutely stunning Glaceon. He let her admire her new body for a time, before clearing his throat. “All right. We should probably get back home if we want to arrive before Eric does.”
“Sound good. Lead the way, fire doggo.” He rolled his eyes as he started on the trail back. Holly was able to keep up better with her newly evolved body, and they were able to reach home by sunset, just in time to see Eric pulling up to the house. He jumped out of the car, walking over. His eyes were full of surprise when he saw Holly, and he nearly fell over as she jumped into his arms.
“Only one pokemon I know who would react like that upon seeing me. Looks like you went on quite the adventure while I was away, didn't you, girl?” As he snuggled her, Ares went inside, bringing back the collar and bow she had left behind.
“Welcome home,” the Houndoom said with a smile on his face.
