I’m here

I’m a (queer)raccoon

Get use to it

How’s everyone’s Monday?
*Hugs*
I'm good, it's been a bit warm again but not too bad. I foolishly went out on my bike and wrecked myself (I'm a little more out of shape than I thought:D).

How's you?

Can anyone recommend a good camera between the prices of £1000 to £2000?

Image clarity is not very good on my current cameras, Most likely due to outdated sensors.

Anyway, I have some photos to show you all.

depends on what you want to use the camera for and what type of camera body type suits you.

If you're using a Cybershot like for your wolf pic and others, check out my gallery and tell me which pic style/quality you like.

I can use that and what you want to do to help get you a better camera and post edit software. check out my selfie and project folder and that will help too with support,

Also just how involved with the operation of the camera you want to get.

Fully automatic or do you want to make your own choices about the settings of ISO, aperture and shutter speed.

Automatic and manual settings are good for me.

A bridge camera or anything over 25 mp would be of interest to me.

I would be using the camera in low light and for very close up shots of items.

I would say something with a interchangeable lenses which will give you options to use macro lenses for close ups or extension tubes with a conventional lenses for macro use.

Sony's Exmore CCD does have good low light performance.

Canon and Nikon have greater availability of quality used lenses and accessories.

A ring flash can be handy for close up detail

Where is best place to share my artwork on the forums?

The photos of the duck, plants, merry-go-round,
look quite close to the type of image quality I am looking for.

This picture was taken with my 70D with an 18 to 85 mm e-FS lense. Then the crap compressed out of it to be able to upload it here.

You don't need to spend so much.

Nikon D3500 or Canon EOS Rebel. both have interchangeable lenses and are intermediate level cameras that come as kits with an additional lens. EOS can be more pricey on a really good starter package, but it is made to get you going. Both integrate with other company's lenses.

Photoshop is standard, however, Faceapp (heavier Snapchat) is a good lightweight tablet photo editor.

If you want a point-shoot you can work photo editing into while taking pictures, I have a Samsung Galaxy 2 which has the software installed on the camera standard and does up to 4K as well.

The Nikon and Canon are about 500USD each, 900USD package, the Samsung was 350ish USD.

The difference between the d80 and d3500 is the CMOS sensor of which the d3500 compresses a little better and the d80 is sharper in between light and dark, if I remember correctly.
