I'm still learning and struggling with consistency and proportion and understanding how to draw the shape of physiology.
I think I've nailed the consistency issues (insofar as my characters tend to look like themselves) but hands and footpaws are a bit of a struggle. Currently I'm trying to make the characters less 'wooden' when they are moving.

I also need to get more confident at drawing bigger. A lot bigger.

I get myself caught in the trap of thinking it's a good size but down the line it goes pair shaped when things suddenly get too cramped and small to draw

And how do we become more confident at drawing?

I draw freehand.
