But I seem to be getting past getting hung up on getting lines drawn right first time and I have picked up some very useful pencil erasers for drawing.

I think I've nailed the consistency issues (insofar as my characters tend to look like themselves) but hands and footpaws are a bit of a struggle. Currently I'm trying to make the characters less 'wooden' when they are moving.
