I have a funny mango story. I was in Belize, visiting my brother, and I was getting off a bus. There was this poor hispanic lady who was trying to get two five gallon buckets full of mangos on the bus, but couldn't pick them up because they were too heavy. I turned back and got her buckets and put them on the bus for her. She was very grateful and offered me a couple of mangoes in payment. I declined and she insisted, so I took them. I was walking down the street with these two mangoes in my paws and people kept staring at me. I didn't know what was up. I went into a restaurant to get some food. Everyone in the restaurant was staring at me. There were only like four other people there. I asked the waiter what was up with everyone staring at me. He said, "You have mangoes." I commented that I thought they were commone there. He said, "Mangoes aren't in season yet. You have the first ones." I told him to take the mangoes in the back, cut them up and share them with him, the cook and everyone in the restaurant, so that everyone had a taste. He was very happy. I got a really great meal that evening and everyone was my friend. lol.
