Had to ask never played D&D before. I've listened to my buddies stories and youtube stories before about it and I like RPGs and JRPGs that have some influence from D&D like Shin Megami Tensei with it's alignment system.

But I have no interest myself in tabletop games. So I had to ask.

Luck isnt one of the base stats in many editions. str dex con int wis char but theres also luck sometimes

yep there's already so many modifiers to every damn roll adding luck to every single one is cumbersome.
