The important thing is to remember is that they are a projection that we have created from our unique imaginations. Developed in ways that only the individual that has created it can understand. But care must be exercised not to lose ourselves with in them.

I'm a thinker and an a empathetic person. From time to time I encounter people that are struggling in real life, that have started to live through there character in there every day lives as a means to cope. I can see the pain there trying to escape from.

The characters we portray in this fandom are fun but I will always look for the person and accept them for who they are.

This was the subject of debate on another forum I'm on. Do your sonas, oc's ect think for themselves. The answer was yes. You ultimately control their fate, but your characters (particularly long standing ones) will, sort of talk to you, they will provide guidance on their reactions to situations. One of the people on the other site said she had published what was the private diary of one of her characters and he stopped talking to her.

'For real', is a relative term. If you want to the most humiliating and painful path between a free society and a free society then yeah follow the suggestions. If not...

I understand this quite well. It is kinda surprising how much you can learn about someone from their character, especially in RPs.
