Don't they do foreign exchange programs anymore? My family hosted an exchange student for a while when I was a kid.

Here's a funny exchange "student" story. The Memphis Chess Club did an exchange program with some German players. They were at a cookout and asked me about making a hamburger. I showed them all of the ingredients and they loaded up their burgers. They came back to me shortly thereafter asking me what the "recipe" for a hamburger was again. I had to explain to them that you put only the things you LIKED on the burger and they were like... Ooooh! Later they decided to drive to Nashville, which is about a three hour drive. They didn't arrive and disappeared. Finally, the next day, they called and let us know they were all right. They had accidentally headed in the wrong direction and ended up in Dallas, Texas which is about 8 or 9 hours away.
