Les Miserables?
A musical. I saw an off broadway production of it once and bought the 80s symphonic recording of it's English version.
Though I have to say that so many of the songs, despite the fact I can't understand them, sound much better in French. A couple can go either way, but some are better in English. The French also has better pacing and a more logical lineup.
