I almost had a state trooper attack me in a courtroom once. I was speeding. When the trooper pulled me over, he was a d*ck. Normally they would cut you some slack and knock the infraction down, but I think he added to it. I admitted to the judge that I must have been speeding, but that there was a 40 mile per hour tail wind and I was driving a 1988 4 cylinder Toyota hatchback that normally wouldn't even go the speed the trooper said I was going. The trooper said that I was clocked at 75 in a 55. In response, I produced a repair bill that showed my speedometer cable had been changed because it was dragging or something, preventing a true reading. The judge was kind and said If I didn't get a ticket in the next six months, it would be removed from my record. As I walked out of the court, I winked at the cop, who must have taken it the wrong way, but he came up off of the seat and was reaching to grab me. His buddy held him back and the judge chewed him out. It was, all in all, a fairly satisfying day.
