I would love to make fursuits. But while you can get a pretty good deal on foam, the faux fur material costs a small fortune. :(
Now the faux fur BLANKETS cost much less but the colors are not quite what I want usually. (I knew a plush designer once that used those instead because cheaper and I don’t see why it wouldn’t work for a suit too)

Yeah, there's good and bad professionals. As far as I understand, therapists are meant to be non-judgemental and avoid engaging on people's emotions as a matter of work ethics. Also, if my mind serves me right, prescribing meds is the psychiatrist's job instead of a therapist's... unless they hold both degrees I assume? I don't know. Doesn't sound very nice to be labeled "mentally sick" tho. :c *hugs you, I can't get enough of it*

Right? As someone that doesn’t have a job other than what comms I can scrounge making a suit would be a really bad idea.

I really need to get what few comms i have worked on...I ended up so sick later yesterday (if anyone noticed my strange absence) I basically stayed curled up.

It was nice...nobody at work telling me to deal with it.

I ALSO TAKE MED. NOT MUCH MED BUT STILL HAVE IT.

mostly cuz I do other techniques to cope but. There’s a reason I don’t like seeing proper psychiatrists. Just therapists.
