I've backed it pretty much since it was announced. I'm liking the mech list so far, but hoping they add a few more in the dlc. The gameplay looked ok last I saw it, but I haven't seen any gameplay footage that less than a year old though, so no real thoughts on that.
Still not happy about the Epic exclusivity, but the only other PC game I'm looking forward to (Phoenix Point) did the same damn thing, so I guess I'm kind of stuck with it. I wish games would have their own launchers like back in the day.
MW3 will always be the best Mechwarrior game though. Kind of wish they'd do a remaster of it sort of like what was done with Battlezone Redoux.

My unpopular take. I liked Mechwarrior online the best of the series.
The micro transaction thing. pilot skills. the modules, that sucked, but the core gameplay was fun. I think MW5 used the same engine as MWO, which I liked.
Epic exclusivity aside (a bit irritated about it) I'm looking forward to Mw5, it's just been so long since a single player Mechwarrior came along.

The price for camo patterns, colors, decals, etc. was pretty bad on there. They should have made them unlockable somehow.

I'm glad MW5 is being delayed because personally I'm disappointed with Online and I want it to be made correctly. I had played Online since early 2013 and the core gameplay didn't evolve very much, wasn't much different from previous titles, and has loads of issues that at this point will never be resolved. MW:O just isn't anywhere near where it should be by now.
