Haven't played Chrono Trigger in a long time but I do go through Earthbound like once a year.
Pretty optimized at this point.

Checked the speedruns.
If you wanna do all quests, the best players take about 4.5 hours to beat Chrono Trigger while Earthbound takes 3.5 hours.
