Looks like a combination of AMOLED degradation and some sort of mechanical damage to the display.

The lines on the bottom and right suggest some sort of electrical connectivity problem.
The faded colours and pigmentation discoloration looks symptomatic of AMOLED degradation. It maybe that although the display looks externally physically undamaged it may well be damaged inside the phone.
