My parents did the same. It's a common theme -date first, then disillusionment, then randomly hook up with a special someone or become happily single.

I think he was just welcoming you to the post-dating scene. It's a parent thing on life.

Wish my dad had the "talk" of life with me before he passed. Oh well, I did find out he was a masochist in his youth so that was interesting...

Other than that, mom never approved of my first relationship so that's another side of the story lol

Man, you just quoted my childhood. I love silent Hill and twisted metal!

Played Jak and Daxter but unfortunately I couldn't get into it, Spyro and crash are classics though. Same with Siphon Filter, Tony Hawk and MidEvil.

I think my cat is broken. Decided to let him join me on one of my walks tonight to see how far he would follow me for shits and giggles and he followed me all the way to the end of my street. That's 520 meters. That's half a kilometre. If I hadn't turned back he would have kept following me.

And who says cats aren't loyal...
