*nods with agreement* any practice templates you can recommend?
Templates as in how to motivate? I just resolve to paint a figure, plonk in headphones (So Mrs Skittles is not offended by my taste in death metal..) Then boom! Music helps ^^

As to drawing templates.. I have no idea sadly.

I'll see if I can find some pre-made templates online and practice with them, perhaps that'll help.
I found duplicating other artists work was very helpful.
I studied the work of people like Michelle Light, Terri Smith, Laura Howell, just printing out stuff they have done and going over them with pencil to find out where the construction lines would be then I would try to duplicate the picture but at a different size, and not try to make it a perfect duplicate. It's quite a good exercise for building up memory as to how characters are put together.
:)

I ended up buying a bunch of Mechwarrior: Age of Destruction clix packs on ebay. I think I have problems...

Maybe I can try something simple, like a flow pot or vase. But yeah, I meant drawing templates or something.
I really like simplistic artworks, nothing too fancy ya know?

I think that's what I'm probably going to do. Find someone's template online and work on that.
Of course, make it a bit original but to get kind of an idea of what art-style I want to be into.

It's kind of like a Mech variant of Heroxlix they made back in the 00's.
I never got into back in the day, but figured they're cheap enough I might as well ad a few of them to my growing mech collection.
