I love that cat more than I loved the ex from whom I stole her. After she got murdered by the irresponsible neighbor's dog (the cat, not the ex), I lost all inspiration to continue writing my novel. Wish she was still around, but I was proud that I gave her lots of love that she otherwise couldn't have had as a stray.

Man, I'm sorry to hear that. I had cat who was killed by a neighborhood dog too, so I feel your pain. I hope you can finish the story. That sounds like a good way to immortalize her.

I've already immortalized her in this very expensive painting I have of her on my wall. The novel will probably never be finished.

God damn, that's rough. I lost mine earlier than expected. We had to put her down. I didn't really understand but, between that and my dad being deployed it was a really low point in my life.

(Any more and probably would deserve vent thread more)
