I actually start my new job at feb.03. After 5 month of unemployement. So... things are good.
I'm glad to hear! Still waiting on word for my most recent interview. Good feelings about it, but I don't want to get my hopes up yet. Freelancing for so long has had an adverse effect on my resume unfortunately, so it's been kinda hard on me.

Hope you will have some luck on your side. It sucks to just sit at home unable to do much about it.
Especially sucks when i see that some people earn $23/hour...

I know what you mean, alot of my month was just spent waiting on the results of an interview hoping somebody would give me a chance. For somebody like myself, wanting to make things work on my own efforts, it felt very dis-empowering. Sometimes it does not feel like I am hired on merit but whether somebody likes me or not. Eugh.

I also hate how entry level jobs in my field of work (tech) ask for like 5 years experience. Like really? It's an ENTRY level job, good god, get off your high horse.

When i see requirements like this, it always reminds me...
When i was first looking for a job, after finishing my IT school, i found that gem, where someone wanted a SWIFT programmer, with 6 years of experience. It was in 2016. SWIFT just going to turn 6 years old this year.
They doesn't even know what they are asking for most of the time. Or just in cases like here, the are sending out advertisements about hiring, just to get some support from the goverment, because they are providing more workspace.

Job related shenanigans, and other gross, not very fun and furry things! How about you?

On the job trail here! What looks likely is a job managing a tasting room at a vineyard: thus, trying to charm people into buying wine, talking things up, planning and doing dinners and events in order to gin up enthusiasm.

Also have been re-adapting to life in the snowy woodlands...shoveling snow, doing some remodeling projects, splitting firewood. Wood is a huge theme up here : )

Oh, that sounds like a real fun experience! You'll have to keep my updated on that. I'm too shy irl to have any salesman sorta jobs. I think you'd be great at it though!
