I remember seeing this on one of my guys recordings
(Yes it was that long ago)
Only remembered it after seeing it in my YouTube suggestions recently
When I FIRST watched it as a kid I was disappointed in it being a mini episode, having NO dialogue, and not being creepy AT ALL

B.I really wish I could get into the mother series it's just not my sense of humor though

Outright better? Nah. It's better in some aspects, satirically I think it's better, and the combination of a modern setting with wacky JRPG enemies makes the setting stand out more as memorable. Though, the combat system is better in Mother 3, less needless backtracking when you're knocked down a party member and I think narratively and in terms of characterization, Mother 3 is much better. The characters are alot more fleshed out and have more time to shine, story is a lot more heartfelt and personal and there's alot of interesting things going on with the theme and narrative, it's deeper in Mother 3. There's alot to dig into and think about, which contrasts with Mother 2's more barren plot and more straightforward narrative.
