(I support gay rights by the way. In fact because of me being a constitutional conservative one of my favorite political questions is how to balance gay rights and religious freedom without violating withers first amendment privilege)
(Good thing that many religions can work with gay rights perfectly fine. Gay rights = straight peoples rights. The end, fun discussion, have a splendid day.)

It's a dessert based play on 1608. To my knowledge nothing significant happened that year, but it seemed about the right time for the Spanish Inquisition.
Founded November 1 1478 and disbanded... 1834?

It's incredibly simple. Have the government not give a darn about your religious or sexual position. Why should the government--

Entropy isn't "everything gets more chaotic", it's "everything will get more chaotic if it is left alone". Organized life doesn't leave some things alone, so said things don't deteriorate.

Entropy is defined by dictionary(dot)com as "(on a macroscopic scale) a function of thermodynamic variables, as temperature, pressure, or composition, that is a measure of the energy that is not available for work during a thermodynamic process. A closed system evolves toward a state of maximum entropy".

The idea is that everything should he heading towards a state of pure entropy, and that is the case so we see from current science. The real key is that it's moving towards that state, meaning it's a net change towards entropy.

The real answer we were looking for, is, that while the universe is moving towards pure 'chaos', it doesn't mean that you will also have little bits of order as well, as we are talking about a net gain of entropy. In the gross calculations, we are likely to see events both creating and removing order from the universe; within the limits of the known laws of physics of course
