The best way to say that would be something like "Oh well, I can't stop you," or "Oh well, this was inevitable." Inevitable meaning something is bound to happen or will happen no matter what. ^^

There really needs to be a dark mode for this site. I spent a lot of time staying up doing a japanese speaking test and my brain and eyes hurt, so I downloaded a dark mode extension and everything on this site now looks like shit :/
