"Ui!" and "Ai!" are Portuguese equivalents for "Ow!" So that reads to me as if you're hurt. But I think I understand the intention here!
Like how I've frequently encountered the expression "oy vey" and initially thought of Brazilian kids poking fun at a classmate for being punished by their teacher. They'd go like "óóói, véi!!" to express something along the lines of "See, that's what you get!!"Oh, that's interesting ^^
Here it's more likely to be used as an expression for excitement or surprise
