I get surprised every once in a while with language quirks, lol
"Ui!" and "Ai!" are Portuguese equivalents for "Ow!" So that reads to me as if you're hurt. But I think I understand the intention here!

Here it's more likely to be used as an expression for excitement or surprise
It's funny how the same expression can have completely different meanings

Like how I've frequently encountered the expression "oy vey" and initially thought of Brazilian kids poking fun at a classmate for being punished by their teacher. They'd go like "óóói, véi!!" to express something along the lines of "See, that's what you get!!"

Or, when somebody posts "BOOOIIII" and my head tends to see them calling for an "OOOXXXXX"
