I've never set foot in a Starbucks. . .but. . .I do frequently go to a local coffee shop, and the prices are about the same as Starbucks, except at this coffee shop, you can get food, and they frequently have limited edition flavors of coffee that are only available for that month which will probably never be offered again, or at least not be offered for a very long time,
I do agree that the price for special craft coffee is a bit absurd, and that's why I only get it once in a while, and I don't get it on a weekly basis. But, I'll happily pay the $10 or whatever once in a while to get a flavor that you couldn't get anywhere else.
