Do you at least get paid well?
It's work practices, so no. I get paid through the work office. If anything, this is a good way to
a) get work experience
b) work certificates(or whatever they're called. Proof of work at X place during Z time, doing Y tasks, with possibly some positive feedback about how I was when working there)
c) get a reference or two
d) lose weight and get into shape
e) create connections
f) work on my social anxiety, though with this asshole it's going to be a permanent war I will lose a few battles with in the future
g) assess my total work capacity. 4 days ain't looking too shabby. Might go for a full week if not including a Saturday as well down the line if needed
It's a good way to get a job, as a lot of people do through this sort of practice. Some only need weeks, while others need months if not years. Years if they want to see long-term.
Who knows, I might get employed here, but it's not what I am primarily looking for.
