I remember how in gen 1 there's one trainer that if you go into their sights and get a wild encounter and lose your pokemon got a instant lv 100.

You only need four moves. Let's be honest. All you need is swords dance and close combat.

Snd close combat is fighting and lowers your (defense I think).

The sprites are really messed up tho.
He knows more normal type attacks than bug.

It has 120 power though! And whats wrong with fighting? If they pull out a pokemon whos strong against fighting, you switch or use another move like knock off. You also can do that classic trick where you have flame orb on and use facade.

Close Combat is legit. One of the best attacks in the game, the defense drawback is nothing compared to the downsides other 120 power attacks have.
Heracross had a little bit of a rough start, but it WRECKED SHIT TO DEATH in Gen 3.
Then it got a Mega evolution. It looks Derpy, but it's a monster.

Nah, I think he just brought Heracross up because it's kind of the Gen 2 brother to the two of them.
We're still confused as to why Pinser doesn't evolve into Heracross.
