The building of a two story in Florida is super expensive, and the insurance for it is also really expensive.
Most of our two story houses are in retirement communities.
Like where I work, The Villages, has two story homes under the name "Premier Homes" and starting price is $375k =/

The ONLY way your experience could have been more Floridian, is if you had seen a sinkhole. It also had a lot of rainstorms and hurricans.

Well, if you can, the next time you visit try going to one of the springs instead of the beach. =]Oh it was a long time ago and we still however are ok with going as we have family there
That might be a while tho...Well, if you can, the next time you visit try going to one of the springs instead of the beach. =]
The springs are always 71 degrees, and are inside parks with a lot of shade. Water is super clean and crystal clear.
So much better than getting burned at the beach.
