I was fielding advice from friends on an idea of a project I have.

I enjoy going to the furmeets but it is one afternoon/evening every 3 weeks in London.

Locally if you want to do anything it is all just drunk people in pubs/bars.

The local population is in the region of 40000 people.

I would like to get a local social group going with arts being the general theme. That meets every week or fortnightly.
