my horsefly bites look a lot less severe now but my ankle is still swollen.
i killed the bastard but i'm worried there might be more of them around so i don't wanna sleep until it's daylight and i can be noisy and turn over the furniture.

There has been a lot of horseflys about this year. I have been using jungle formula insect repellent I got from superdrug

well it's not like i was expecting the bastard to sleep inside my damn bedsheets.
can normally avoid any flying things here but this one sneaked through.

i can make a pizza and the loudest sound is the swish as it slides gently onto the baking tray.

We don't get to choose the when. That's the breaks, kid.

I lost my brother, the middle child of the 3 of us and my favorite sibling, when he was only 30yrs old, in 2006. And he was gone overnight. He died in his sleep. I didn't get the chance to say goodbye. I still fight thru that everyday.

Use the time you do have with Night to enjoy this thing called life. Yes, the day will still come when he is gone. But it's going to come whether you are happy about it or not. Don't let your sadness get in the way of celebrating what life is left!

The loudest sound I've ever made while making pizza is:
The time I tripped carrying the tray to the oven, sending the frozen pizza THROUGH a window, and landing on my ass.

Not sure if it was the sound of breaking glass, the clank of metal, or the loud bang of my ass hitting the floor at 2am, but my mother was NOT happy...
