Late Healer Ferret
So we were doing a special ritual theatre sort of thing and my crazy uncle (whos the high priest of the pagan group) shows up with a bull fursuit head to play a minotaur.

I basically had to pick at it and be like how is made also I believe the jaw was done wrong.

Like there were bits that were great. But. It was a mesh head with a movable jaw that wasn’t aligned quite right and didn’t shut all the way with resin eyes and black mesh to see through with holes too big. From a distance it was okay just a little creepy. Up close you could see his eyes and it made it weird as hell. And there was a bad seam in the back. I’m assuming was a newer maker.

When he took it off he was dripping sweat.

I feel both awesome and kinda sad right now. But now that I finally got to fiddle with a fur head I know some more things to watch out for when I make my own.

Sometimes my pagan group at my church does more theatre style “sermons” but we call them ritual theatre.

My uncle is the high priest so he and my aunt (the high priestess) run the thing.

Our theme this time was about Creed and the labyrinth and such for our yearly labyrinth walk.

And my uncle wore a strange fursuit bull head to play the minotaur and I was picking at it so I could get more ideas for building my own head.

As I’ve never gotten to pick at a suit.

I think you have mentioned it, but may I ask what that type of church that one is?

Unitarian Universalist. We have a pagan group there that meets once a month and is what I mostly am interested in.
