Not always. At it's base is it's a condition in which processing written words is difficult due to similarities.
My mom has a rare form of it that makes it so she can't tell the difference between similar words like country and county.
I have a subset that targets the direction and numerical processing center of the brain (dyscalculia) making it so numbers and I are not friends and guess how easy it is for me to get lost? GPS is my friend. And god forbid I stray from a path I actually have learned. I'm aces at wandering and remembering things based on little landmarks though. (for example I remember where to turn into my complex by "end of the guardrails before the road curves" )

so because I made cute shippy picture earlier my wife came home and decided she's obligated to make an unwholesome pic of another one of my fave ships (we share it now) and not just that but is making a little comic.
