You know, like these ones? They are kinda old
-Knowledge is coming from 2 prior boards I moderated, not here-]
Stickies are considered threads that have either A: Vital information. or B: Information on something that gets posted constantly.
So they're kept up top, and open to avoid multiple threads about something that was already explained very well, and allow discussion of it.

So they would technically not count as necro?

Consider them as...Kept on life support. Usually that's how it's seen anyway.

Necro(dead) is typically:
"Hi guys! I'm new here. -Dated 1/1/2000" It hasn't seen a reply in ages, and then someone randomly replies to it.

Yay for having knowledge from being a past moderator! lol

I think i saw a reply to an rp post once but the op had made that post about a year ago.
There's a few things to look at for this: 1.How active are moderators? 2.Was it reported? 3.The post was made a year ago, but how long was the comment made before someone commented on it again? 4.necro threads aren't typically kept up with AS much, cause there's usually worse things to worry about.

Such a small bunp from a dead thread isnt a big issue tbh.
But when it comes to forum games, i think i agree that necroing fun topics is okay.

What
Is happening
Now

Yeah, I don’t think I’ve ever responded to one of those sticky threads now that I think about it
