Well. You see. We built a nice, big, heavy rocket. Painted red of course cause red is scientifically faster. We launched ourselves to space, but had far too much speed. In an attempt to regain control over the speed and direction, the pilot turned the ship to retrograde for a deceleration burn. Unfortunately, the nose was not pointed at a perfect retrograde, causing us to basically drift in space. We abandoned ship as it fast approached the surface again, though there was still a long way to go. After several hours, I took a nap. I just woke up.
