Well you'll have to have a head start as it's hard to get a following, upload videos everyday which is why people like ProJared have secondary let's play channels and play with the algorithm and make sh**y Fortnite click bait videos or whatever trends.
It's work. If you want followers and money, it's work.
Paperwork, advertising, writing, coding. That's just SOME of the work that goes into my hobby of photography, and i don't even use it as a main income.

If you want your passions and hobbies to make you money, you have to put a lot of work into it.
Right now you're young, so if you wanted to do youtube, it'd be a decent time. Get started, learning, grow following, all while not have a bunch of bills. =]

I played one furry game ever and it was decent. It's called Major/Minor and it was somewhat fun. It's on android. I think good furry games can exist, it's just hard to. Especially since the audience is very specific and game companies don't want to touch that category.
And that's why I won't make furry games as they won't make much money due to the niche audience.

Also YouTube picks favorites and randomly screws over certain content creators like SuperMarioLogan where they pernamently removed all his ads and monetization.

You don’t tell them it’s furry, so they slowly get curious and slip into the black hole
It gets pretty obvious plus games are expensive to make and the real reason so many indie games are 8-bit is because it's cheaper then 3D games but it still cost loads of money.

Again:
Merch.
Streaming.
etc.

I watched Stormi Folf's stream recently, multiple people donated $100, ProJared I've seen multiple $50.
There are ways. If you WANT to do it, try it out.

Streaming you have to build a certain amount for following before YouTube allows donations and Twitch has many fake donations where they put in $100 but then refund it imedietly. Merch costs money to make so no.

I didn't know youtube had it's own streaming, as I haven't seen anyone use that?
It's something that's work. You can't put no effort into something and make money. In my photography, I don't just look at a place and go "Oh, there's money rolling into my account now."
You have to like what you're doing, and have determination to work and grow and learn.

You'll also have to make sponserships but unless your ProJared or Jacksfilms then it's hard to find one.

I'M BACK! What happened to the cookies?
They're all gone. Every last one. After it got down to a thousand cookies left, the other furries got into heated argumants. Complaining turned into threats, threats turned into actions. The land was divided into five. First was the land of the canines with their Leader by the name of Duke Daniels. Next the Cervines lead by a leader known as Jackson Taylor. Then there were the Reptiles lead by Jason Bishop. Then there were the Avians lead by Wallus Wright. Finally there were the amphibians/aquatics lead by Alice Shepard. Any other animal type that didn't join or fit into a category was quickly wiped out. Constant battles raged across the land. Alice pushed her territory further upward into the Cervine's land until Winter hit and her army was forced back. The Avians had launched arial assaults on the Canines while their reptiles allies pushed East, but came to a halt after Duke Daniels sent a force to meet theirs while unknownst to the Reptile forces, a secret hidden unit came behind and flanked, forcing the reptiles back. The fighting went on for fifty years. The Amphibians/Aquatics were the first to fall for obvious reasons of most of them being unable to leave the water. Next the equally inferior Cervines fell. Then the Reptiles, Avians, and finally the Canines. Thus cookies killed off the entire population of furries and lead to one of the greatest disasters in history.

Many YouTubers make videos that have no effort put into them purely to make money like all those reaction videos or Fortnite gameplay stuff as they are just there to make a quick buck.

Oh dear....

Smaller things like to sponsor.
Dollarshave Club, Wix, Squarespace, Audiable(sp?) all give sponsors fairly easily.
And personally, my job sponsors all of my stuff that relates to the area.
It's very doable.
They suport YouTubers that get around 100,000 subs or more as they are easy targets for msking a quick buck.
