So the Indy events turned into what NASCAR events are like?
I'm sorry, that sucks.

In Japan, drifting started on the mountain roads, very tight and technical and their tracks are still like that. Points were based on style and control. Most cars having around 150hp-350hp. MAYBE up to 500hp, but that's more uncommon.
Most drift cars in America are pushing more than 500hp, which swapped in V8s, and I've watched people who did a better job and didn't crash into anything lose to someone with a V8 S13 because the V8 S13 had a "Cool" factor. >_>
I personally like German cars... They are fast and drift pretty good in anything below B class.

I like some older Italian cars

German cars are nice.
BMW and Porsche make some great cars, that are awesome...But are very expensive to upkeep, on top of that they have a LOT more electronics.
Even in the 80's when electronics weren't encasing vehicles, the German cars still had a lot of electronics that weren't used by others.
My old manager had a 84(85?) Porsche 944, and that thing was a NIGHTMARE to work on because of all the electronics that are so unusual.

Porche, BMW and Audi are all nice and also BMW was originally a aircraft company so their electronics seem to match with their past.

I also like watching the R1 cars as those are the fast af cars that are specifically for racing.

Doesn't change the fact they're annoyingly difficult. lol
The BEST Euro car I've ever worked on was my friends BMW E43, that he redid EVERYTHING on. It was a pure drift car, didn't see public roads. He literally had everything stripped, and redid the cars entire wiring to only be what was required to run. SO MUCH BETTER.
I have worked on ONE Audi before, and never again. lol It was an EXTRA bundle of nightmares as it had auto adjusting air suspension.

The japanese cars, are just so much easier throughout the 80's and 90's. They're where my heart is at. <3

There's a difference between having resources available, and being difficult.
As several of the BMWs actually have full circuit boards, for their taillights. Just being difficult at that point. lol
American cars were the simplest for the longest time, but I'm not a V8 fan.
Nissan, Mitsubishi, and Toyota are my absolute favorites.

I always hated American cars as their goal is to be produced the fastest.
