Yeah. Except schools don't fund the department and the only choices of classes here in the states are Spanish and French. Plus It's not going to get me a job.

You could easily become a Spanish or French teacher in an english speaking country or an English teacher in a non-english speaking country. Here in spain we have awful english teachers and the only way to properly learn english is by your own or with particular classes that are pretty expensive.

Why don't you look around the translator or teacher side? I don't think you want to be a teacher but if you learn the language enough you might be able to do something with it.

First off teaching is a horrible job plus people temd to not care in those classes as the people either already know the language (such as Spanish) or they're just there to pass their 2 years of language and don't ever use their skills that they learned.

Maybe in public schools, but if people go to expensive particular classes is because they really want to learn. English is a very important language and you are a native english speaker. As I said, in Spain you can't learn english in public schools so people need to find other ways to learn it and not everybody can learn it by their own, so there is a lot of people looking for particular teachers.

I speak one language I'm not fluent in the others and always mess up and I'm not that good a languages as it's just the class I did slightly better than my other ones which wasn't very positive to begin with.
