That's not easy when you're a horrible person like me.
Your actions dictate whether you’re a “horrible” person or not.
So change your actions, as you were just given an example.

How? You can't just change a personality like that.
Sure you can! ^-^
Consider how your words and actions make others feel.
Go out of your way to do something nice for people.
For some people, even simply asking how they’re doing and being there if they need to talk can do a lot.
Many more examples of you really want them. :)

I used/currently overcoming the distorted perception I have of myself, and have been to dark places.

Something I can say to you Niedlich is that going by your interaction with others on here. You do not come across as a horrid person.

How am I supposed to know what it's like to hear good responses when the type of responses I get/hear everyday are rhe ones I used?

You quickly replied to me, when I said negative things about myself, telling me that I’m not those things.
That right there is something very nice, and it was in your own words.
What important is: You know what it’s like to hear negative things. You know how it feels. Which gives the perfect example of what not to say to others, as I’m sure you don’t want others to feel like you do.

But I can't tell the negetives from positives.
