We camp right next to a pretty good sized stream. But our camp sits on a little platue about ten feet above it. It drowns out alot of the noise. But not too much. We love it up there. So quiet. So peaceful. And far from people! Thats important!

Pretty okay. Had a total fiasco with dinner but we got fed so that's all that matters.
Bears are pretty active in our area, and like to tear peoples trash open a lot. =/Hiya!!
It's eerie af when it goes quiet. I am not a fan. The coyote experience was one for the books. And the craziest part is that we've been going to this same spot for over 10 yrs! It took til the 10th year for something like that to happen. We've never even had a raccoon get to our trash. (knock on wood!)
But we love it. Only thing that would make it better for Okami is if he was able to chill with Bigfoot. Or pet a real deer.
I like sitting/laying indoors as I have horrible stamina and am a bug magnet.
We take plenty of the comforts of home. And def take music!! We eat like kings and drink a lot. And really just chill & play board games. And tend camp. That's really it. We just like to check out.
Oh. We dont sleep.on the ground. Jumbo blow up mattress! Battery powered fan! Radio to play loud music to scare off anybody wanting to camp near us(we like privacy). Coolers full of beer and steak and chicken and mac and cheese!! And plenty of firewood(we bring our own because spending hours finding firewood sucks)!

Mosquitoes love my sweet blood! Bug repellant never works!
That's why we always have a fire. And we really don't do much. Just enjoy being together, away from everything & everyone.
I would hug it if it let me. I almost sweet talked a deer onto our front porch one night. Ask Bhutrflai! It was funny af!

Not my fault you kill more then BEARS despite not needing to as herbivores and being less strong then them as well.

I'm sure they had a good laugh when you could actually provide proof! I've heard of snakes, bees, all sorts of stuff. I've had ants, but nothing too major.
